Disc Jockeys vs. Live Bands.

Hiring a disc jockey is extremely beneficial. Music adds an extra
element making events memorable. Disc Jockeys are flexible with
music selections and almost always satisfy everyone's music need.
Disc Jockeys provide continuos music flows without breaks. Live bands
are usually limited in the music they know and they take breaks.
Disc Jockeys are usually one-third the price of hiring a live band.

Performance Style

Sound Sensations can handle any event from a high energy dance show to
providing back ground music for quieter events. Sound Sensations will
also act as "Master of Ceremonies" for your event, informing the guests
of up coming events and keeping things moving smoothly.

Music

Sound Sensations offers a wide musical selection, everything from
Oldies, Rock, Country, Big Band to today's Top 40 hits. Sound
Sensations musical library consists of over 2,000 compact discs, and
it continues to grow. With over 20,000 song titles, we should have your
needs covered. Sound Sensations is one of Time-Life's top 10 U.S.
customers of their music series. I also subscribe to various music
subscription services, keeping the music library up to date.
I encourage your input and requests.

Karaoke

Sound Sensations offers Karaoke Service for a small additional cost.
Try your hand at singing from our selection of songs.

Attire

Sound Sensations DJ's are appropriately dressed for each event from
Tuxedos and semi-formal to casual attire.

Equipment

Sound Sensations uses only professional audio equipment that is neat in
appearance and quick to set up. The volume is set at the level you desire.
A lighting package is available including multi-colored flood lights, strobes,
police beacons, fog, bubbles, siren, computer controlled lights, and the
classic mirror ball with pin spots.

Fully Insured

In today's world, it is important to know that anyone you conduct
business with is insured to cover accidents that may occur. Sound Sensations
carries full liability insurance with $1,000,000 coverage.

Area Serviced

Sound Sensations travels throughout the Willamette Valley.
Based in Salem, Oregon, Sound Sensations travels as far north as
Portland, Eugene to the south, and to the Oregon Coast.

Prices

Sound Sensations does not charge for set up time. You are only
charged from the contracted starting and ending times. If the
event runs over, you are billed an additional hourly rate. Sound
Sensations believes in charging affordable rates for your events.

2013 rates are:

$600.00 Three Hours* +
$100.00 Additional Hours
(No charge for setup & tear down & 1 hour of travel from Salem)

$25.00 per hour travel charge beyond the first hour from Salem

$150.00 additional system

$150.00 Karaoke

*Phone Consultations, In-Person Meetings, Master of Ceremonies & Reception Coordination
are all included with this rate.
